Robert Half Accounts Receivable Coordinator in Nashville, Tennessee

Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves managing and overseeing the accounts receivable process, ensuring the accuracy of billing and collections, and maintaining financial records in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounts receivable process and ensure timely and accurate billing and collections.

• Monitor accounts and incoming payments, and reconcile accounts for accuracy.

• Analyze monthly AR aging reports and resolve discrepancies.

• Collaborate with clients and internal departments to address and resolve billing issues and disputes.

• Assist with month-end closing processes and other general accounting tasks as necessary.

• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.

• Use Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Apply skills in Account Reconciliation and Cash Collections to optimize the accounts receivable process.

• Handle cash applications accurately and efficiently. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar

• Proficiency in account reconciliation

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in billing procedures

• Knowledge of cash applications and cash collections

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with QuickBooks software

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze financial data

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
