The Opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Player Services Attendant to join our team at Gate City Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire. As a Player Services Attendants, you will work both on the gaming floor and at the Player's Club desk, assisting guests with a variety of needs. Duties include processing jackpots, maintaining slot machines, assisting with promotions, and managing Player Rewards card transactions.

Pay

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

$17.00 - $17.00 / hour

Responsibilities

• Provide information, cards, promotional items, and other rewards to program members

• Update and enter member information into the database

• Assist with the execution of games, contests, drawings, and give-aways

• Maintain strict confidential guidelines in all customer interactions and records

• Utilize active listening skills to defuse emotionally charged situations

• Monitor HHR machines, changing and fixing ticket paper as needed

• Perform adjustments to slot machines, resolving problems such as jams or machine tilts, and perform minor repairs by contacting repair technician or supervisor for assistance as needed

• Record the specifics of malfunctioning machines and documents malfunctions needing repair

• Patrol assigned areas to ensure that players are following rules, and machines are functioning correctly, and assist guests

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age

• No experience or diploma required

• Ability to obtain and maintain a state gaming license

• Excellent guest service skills

• Ability to perform basic math calculations and accurately handle large sums of money

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

• Frequent standing and walking for the entire length of shift

• Exposure to secondhand smoke and moderate to high noise levels at times.
