BAE Systems NRE / Material Operations Program Manager III - Hybrid in Nashua, New Hampshire

Job Description

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

The EPAWSS (Eagle Passive Active Warning and Survivability System) Program, part of the TacAir Product Line, is one of ECS's most strategic program portfolios. Currently under contract with Boeing for EMD, LRIP, and Sustainment this dynamic program is driving significant technological advances in the field while ramping in production to support modifications of the F15E and brand new F15EX platforms.

The EPAWSS NRE/ Material OPM will have overall responsibility for the entire Material Strategy for the EPAWSS Portfolio. The EPAWSS portfolio of Programs represents close to $2B in funding across the IBP. The successful candidate will partner with Production PM, their cross-functional staffs, and the Program OPMs to ensure we are well positioned with material to support our program needs. This includes: executing to our material strategy, managing the program SOA, driving affordability through our material cost take out strategy, working closely with Procurement and Subcontracts to ensure we are ordering material on time and to our cost targets as well as resolving material issues. In addition, they are the lead for all DMS events and activities on our NRE side of the program and ensuring we are supporting any requirements for Production as well as Sustainment

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Strong Supply Chain and Procurement background

  • Demonstrated experience in all phases of the product lifecycle from development through sustainment

  • Demonstrated acumen with regard to EVMS and the ability to implement Cost Account Management best practices

  • Experience with proposals and the Operations proposal process

  • High degree of ethics and strong core values

  • Exceptional oral communication and formal presentation skills and a demonstrated ability to establish excellent internal and external customer relationships

  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of team with initiative, creativity, and innovation

  • Excellent program/project management skills

  • High level of business and financial acumen, with proven ability to manage scope and budget

  • Exceptional management and leadership skills and ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • PMP, Agile, or other related Certifications

  • Manufacturing AND Supply Chain experience

  • Strong foundation in the Operations function

  • CAM/ Financial Management

  • Risk and Opportunity Management

  • Plan for Every Part / Left Shift / Sourcing Experience

  • CAB/ Yield Improvement Boards and Affordability

  • Risk and Ops

  • Analytical skills and the ability to work independently to develop Leadership presentations for the Operations and Program function

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
