Please note this position supports our Weekend Night Shift working Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM. You will work 36 Hours and be paid for 40 Hours plus earn a 15% pay premium.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Working in the Manual cell, using various liquid and sheet epoxies to lay the foundation of every micro-electronics module. On the TACAIR Microwave Factory on a variety of products including 56C and EPAWSS

As a Microwave Technician on 8th shift, you will make impacts in the following ways;

• Fabricate and/or modifies complex micro-integrated circuit modules or microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies by following specific instructions, such as for wire and ribbon bonding utilizing various manual and automatic bonding machines or using an MRSI microwave component automated pick and place machine.

• Fabricate and/or modify complex microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED and 1 year work experience.

• Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods of time.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience with lamination presses, bladder bag ovens and sheet epoxies (mainly with the focus of attaching substrates to modules/housings). Familiar with working with a wide variety of adhesives and epoxy's.

• Able to work with a microscope for an entire shift.

• Familiar with MIL-STD-883

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $39820 - $63690

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
