Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Nashua, New Hampshire
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Nashua, New Hampshire. This role involves leading the division accounting department activities, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of financial management reports, and overseeing the daily cash management.
Responsibilities:
• Leading the accounting department's daily activities to ensure timely and accurate financial management reports, including internal and external monthly financial statements, annual audits, and annual budgets.
• Supervising the daily cash management to maintain financial stability.
• Coordinating the Month End Close and Balance Sheet Reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Providing accurate financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making at both the operational and executive levels.
• Assisting with sales & use tax filing and compliance to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Hiring, on-boarding, training, and managing the performance of all accounting staff to maintain a productive team.
• Establishing internal controls to maintain financial security.
• Collaborating with external auditors and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Leading and mentoring a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
• Implementing financial systems and processes to accommodate the company's growth and ensure efficiency and scalability.
• Keeping financial and personal information confidential to protect the organization’s value.
• Undertaking special projects as needed to support the company's financial operations. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting manager/supervisor role
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with BlackLine platform
• Proficiency in using Concur software
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to handle all accounting functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in auditing procedures
• Experience in handling billing functions
