Raytheon RIS is currently seeking a Product Support Liaison to provide technical management of the Next Generation Jammer System (NGJ) at multiple locations to include deployed Naval vessels, NAS Whidbey Island, WA and various expeditionary sites.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter and possess the ability to represent Raytheon as the initial interface with external customers and ensure customer support requirements are met. Candidate may also be called upon to assume additional technical roles and at times work with little or no direct supervision. Candidate must have the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance on the first day of employment.

OPPORTUNITIES ARE PRIMARILY SHIPBOARD ON US NAVY AIRCRAFT CARRIERS, AND VARIOUS OVERSEAS LAND BASED EXPEDITIONARY LOCATIONS WORKING EXTENDED HOURS DURING MULTIPLE MONTH ROTATIONS FOLLOWED UP BY MULTIPLE MONTHS AT NAS WHIDBEY ISLAND, WA.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage incoming inspection, troubleshoot, repair, calibration, and return of Next Generation Jamming (NGJ) systems returned from CONUS and OCONUS locations

  • Execute NGJ Fleet Support Representative’s (FSR) efforts at NAS Whidbey Island, WA

  • Train U.S. Navy Sailors and new FSR’s before OCONUS deployment

  • Deploy either shipboard or in an expeditionary capacity with supported NGJ systems

  • Support engineering, logistics and operations teams

  • Work with the engineering product development team prior to system deployment

  • Identify field support equipment needs for field troubleshooting

  • Assist USN maintainers with all NGJ support requirements

  • This position will perform other duties as assigned in support of the mission

  • How to write technical reports to classify the condition of assigned assets.

  • How to integrate into the customers organization and provide technical assistance in real time.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Familiarity with the Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) systems and/or the NGJ Tactical Jamming System (TJS)

  • Minimum 5 years related experience

  • Ability to pass a deployment/overseas health screening physical

  • Ability to deploy onboard USN ships and into foreign countries

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

  • Secret clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Familiarity with USN organizational level squadron operations

  • Familiarity with USN technical reports

  • Past or current experience with Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) and/or FSR operations

  • Extensive knowledge of AEA, NGJ, RF, and Radar systems

  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings (Common PDM)

  • Leadership experience with dispersed teams

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Excel, Word, Power Point

  • Experience in effectively communicating with end user of the system

  • Highly organized and detail oriented

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
