The Opportunity
The Product Quote Coordinator (PQC) plays a critical role within the Sales Execution team, ensuring the successful delivery of commercial sales and project commitments to customers across North America. This position oversees the quote-to-order process for both large project teams and Contractor/Dealer orders. The PQC works closely with multiple departments, including Customer Experience, Project Management, Outside Sales, Product Quoters, and Application Engineering, to ensure quote accuracy and timely turnaround. By collaborating with the Outside Sales team, the PQC balances customer requirements with commercial business objectives, maintaining a steadfast commitment to delivering world-class customer service and support throughout the quote-to-fulfillment cycle.
The Team
The role will report to the Inside Sales Manager. This role will interface with the Project Managers, Outside Sales, Product Quoters and Application Engineering group to ensure quote accuracy and timely quote turnaround, working closely with the Outside sales team to balance customer and commercial business requirements with the focus on continuing to provide world class customer service and customer support throughout the quote to fulfillment process.
Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of customer perspectives, identifying their needs and wants to transform them into larger, more impactful accounts.
Establish and nurture strong, lasting relationships with all levels within customer organizations.
Identify strategic opportunities, including sales growth potential, product diversification, and increased share of wallet with AGI.
Review and analyze customer quote requirements to prepare equipment quotations that align with defined customer specifications.
Oversee and manage projects from Request for Quote (RFQ) through on-site delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines and objectives.
Guide customers through every aspect of the buying process, addressing concerns and navigating internal processes while delivering exceptional customer service.
Communicate effectively and ensure projects progress smoothly through all stages of execution.
Analyze, manage, communicate, and mitigate risks throughout the quote-to-delivery lifecycle.
Review quotes and projects in detail to schedule deliverables, estimate costs, and ensure alignment with customer needs.
Validate that AGI equipment quotes meet or exceed customer performance requirements.
Support the outside sales team with key account growth initiatives and strategic planning.
Audit and validate customer quotes/projects to ensure accuracy and compliance with target margin expectations.
Collaborate directly with dealers and cross-functional AGI teams to execute Sales Execution (SE) organization activities.
Apply knowledge of AGI product lines to effectively communicate and address detailed RFQ requirements.
Partner with the SE team, Application Engineering, and product experts to address product application concerns, delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Assist system designers in creating project process flow diagrams, layout drawings, and equipment lists for quotations.
Coordinate with internal functions to ensure seamless order fulfillment and project delivery.
Contribute to AGI internal business development initiatives and process improvement projects.
Maintain organized project files, task boards, and SharePoint sites for effective workflow and collaboration.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Agriculture, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in a similar role within customer service or project coordination.
Preferred experience in agricultural construction or related industries.
Proven experience handling complex technical customer requirements.
Ability to prepare accurate and competitive product quotes.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities.
Strong project management capabilities, including planning, execution, and follow-through.
Experience working within a matrixed organization.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across functional disciplines.
Adaptable to a continuously evolving environment and ability to drive growth.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Familiarity with Jira and Salesforce is a plus.
Experience working with multiple software applications and ERP systems for quoting purposes.
Ability to review and analyze project drawings.
