North Central College, IL Graduate Education Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator in Naperville, Illinois

Description of Key Responsibility:

  • Working with the Kern Family Foundation grant stakeholders and the Associate Dean for Graduate Enrollment Management and Services to develop a comprehensive outreach, recruitment, and communication strategy.

  • Increasing school district and public knowledge and awareness of the Master of Education in Educational Leadership and other grant-related goals through site visits, events, correspondence, and other marketing avenues such as digital and print media.

  • Establishing relationships with new school district partners and cultivating and managing relationships with existing school district partners interested in NCC Cultures of Character Initiatives.

  • Serving as the main recruiting contact for the Master of Education in Educational Leadership, the Character Education Certificate programs, executing the admissions process from prospective application through matriculation.

  • Support the College’s mission, vision, and values, and contribute to the advancement of the College’s Strategic Plan.

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous quality improvement.

  • Demonstrate civil and inclusive behavior when interacting with staff, faculty, students, and visitors to the College. Promote a flexible, collaborative, and inclusive work and living environment and engage in educational opportunities to increase awareness and understanding of diversity and inclusion.

  • Other duties as assigned.

This position may be required to travel and work evenings and weekends as scheduled.

Education/Training:

A Bachelor’s degree desired. Master is preferred.

Experience:

A Bachelor’s degree desired. Master is preferred.

Licenses or Certifications:

A valid Illinois Driver’s License and acceptable driving record is required.

Position Summary:

North Central College received a significant grant from the Kern Family Foundation to integrate initiatives in character development for school leaders, teachers, and others interested in learning how to develop cultures of character in their organization and this essential role was created to support these efforts. This position works closely with grant stakeholders, the Associate Dean for Graduate Enrollment Management and Services, and other administrators and faculty in the School of Education and Health Sciences and the Leadership, Ethics, and Values Program. This Coordinator is responsible for growing enrollment in the Master of Education in Educational Leadership leading to the Principal Endorsement degree.

Employed for a twelve-month basis with a standard work week of 20 hours (1,000 hours annually-minim) or as identified in the most recent revisions of the Personnel Policy Guide or as determined by immediate supervisor.
