Description

We are currently looking for a highly organized and efficient Data Entry Clerk to assist our local clients on a contract basis. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and should be tasked with operating data entry devices to input records, lists or other data points into an electronic format.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry

• Verify data and correct data where necessary

• Check source documents for accuracy

• Input data into database software and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted

• Creating data backups as part of a contingency plan

• Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete documents

• Comply with data integrity and security policies

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven data entry work experience

• Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word)

• Experience with data record-keeping

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
