Olsten Staffing is assisting a lawyer's office in Myrtle Beach, SC to find an experienced Paralegal to join their team! This is a full-time position. Apply now if you meet the qualifications below!

Responsibilities include the following:

• Document management and analysis for large cases

• Medical record summaries and chronologies

• Procurement of medical records/HIPAA compliance

• Preparation and service of subpoenas and other discovery requests

• Preparation of pleadings and discovery responses

• Preparation of routine status reports to clients or national counsel

• Statewide roster/docket monitoring

• Electronic filings/ECF with Federal Court

• Tracks time spent on client matters and enters time in billing system in a timely matter

Candidates should have the following knowledge, skills, and attributes:

• Three or more years' experience working in a law firm as a Paralegal

• Thorough understanding of the litigation process

• Knowledge of court and administrative hearing rules and procedures

• Must be flexible with the ability to handle a large caseload in a fast-paced environment

• Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc...) and other legal software applications

• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and employees at all levels of the firm

• Team member who participates in shared office duties and requirements

Pay Details: $46,000.00 to $48,000.00 per year
