Reference #: USVEUSREQ019757 DIVISION:U.S. AutoForcePOSITION SUMMARYThe Product Warranty Inspector will receive, review, load, and credit appropriate customer accounts in regards to warranty product.

Schedule: M-F 7:00am-5:00pm.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Receiving warranty product: Check in and process proper documentation Processes product adjustments; including physical inspection, skiving, taking pictures, chalking, online claim entry, paperwork collection Loading: Ensure product which needs manufacturer inspection is scheduled and picked up in a timely manner Load trucks using good judgment regarding use of space and product safety Contribute to our culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and operating procedures May travel to other warehouses to assist, train, and/or set up warranty processes Adhere to all vendor adjustment and shipping policies Communicate with all team members effectively and professionally utilizing all types of communication Responsible for required warranty and return documentation Assists with process improvement initiatives. Assist customers and sales team with warranty questions/issues Operate power equipment, including fork-lift Process claims withing 7-10 business days and recommend customer credit for returned merchandise - credit the customer Return product to proper vendors Assist warehouse with other duties as assigned

Physical Demands and Work Environment: Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, taste and/or smell; the employee must occasionally lift products weighing up to approximately 80 pounds. Handling of tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than approximately 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, harness, seatbelt, SRL (self-retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. AutoForce except for steel / composite toe boots. Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Fumes associated with tires and occasionally car parts and lubricants prevalent.

QUALIFICATIONS Two years of industry related experience preferred by not required 18 years of age or older Ability to work accurately with lengthy part numbers Above average scanning accuracy Ability to follow directions and safe operating procedures Neat, well organized, and meet deadlines given by management Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and able to work at heights of 25 feet Work on feet for extended periods of time Able to process a large volume of paperwork with strong attention to details Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities Willing to work overtime as needed A valid driver's license and good driving record, as needed Strong math skills and understanding of basic accounting methods Ability to work independently, use a computer, and utilize technologies for communication and manage time and resources effectively Ability to travel at least 10% for training and assist with warranty claim processing at other warehouses Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
