Trinity Health Radiology Tech Summary

The Radiology Tech will operate various radiographic equipment, performing radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease or injury. Develops x-rays, obtains reports, prepares x-rays for review by physician on site, and sends films to Mercy Radiology for reading. Assists with other clinical functions as needed.

What the Radiology Technology Tech will need:

  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. Graduate technologists accepted. Registry must be attained within one year from date of employment.

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

What the Radiology Technology will need:

  • Ability to interact with various individuals with diverse backgrounds.

  • Able to identify problems outside areas of responsibility and take appropriate corrective action in a timely manner.

  • Demonstrate a customer service orientation with patients and family members.

  • Actively support the mission of MGHP. Demonstrate support for Value Based Principles of Operation through performance of duties

  • Primarily involves balancing, bending, squatting, standing, stooping, walking and lifting of patients, though employs a wide range of physical activities.
