Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for performing responsive maintenance repairs on extrusion and other production machinery, inspecting and conducting preventive maintenance (PM) for multiple departments, and rebuilding and overhauling complete machinery. Additionally, you will maintain and repair plant systems including plumbing, chiller/tower systems, material dryers, compressors, and pumps. Basic electrical repair skills are a plus. You will also provide guidance to production employees to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform responsive maintenance repairs on extrusion and other production machinery.

• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance (PM) as needed for multiple departments.

• Rebuild and overhaul complete machinery.

• Maintain and repair plant systems including plumbing, chiller/tower systems, material dryers, compressors, and pumps.

• Perform basic electrical repairs (not a necessary skill, but nice to have).

• Instruct and guide production employees through troubleshooting to maintain quality and efficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience or 3+ years of mechanically inclined work (military mechanic, automotive/diesel)

• Experience in repairing hydraulic cylinders and pumps

• Basic electrical repair skills (nice to have)

Work Environment

1st Shift: 7am-3pm. No mandatory overtime, but it is offered during the week or on weekends. Our facility is clean and well-lit.
