Description

We are in search of an Accounting Supervisor to join our team based in Muscatine, Iowa. This role is centered around the management of accounts payable and receivable, billing functions, and account reconciliation within our industry. The successful candidate will be adept at using programs such as Quickbooks Online and Paychex Payroll, ensuring smooth operation of all accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Handle billing functions, including Medicaid billing, to ensure all financial transactions are correctly recorded and accounted for.

• Utilize Quickbooks Online for various accounting tasks, demonstrating proficiency and accuracy.

• Use Paychex Payroll system for all payroll-related tasks, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.

• Perform balance sheet account reconciliation to ensure all financial reports are accurate.

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service.

• Monitor customer accounts regularly, taking appropriate action when necessary.

• Utilize your knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure all transactions are processed correctly.

• Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure all financial data is accurate.

Requirements • Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing Functions and Medicaid Billing

• Experience with Quickbooks Online and Paychex Payroll

• Knowledge of Paychex software

• Ability to perform Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Ability to supervise, mentor, and guide accounting staff

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

• Prior experience in a supervisory role within an accounting department.
