Join our client's Global Strategic Sourcing team as a Sourcing Data Analyst, responsible for their department supplier pricing data, purchase price variance reporting, and building Power BI visuals related to supplier pricing health. This is an exciting opportunity to support the reconciliation and maintenance of SAP part pricing data, ensuring accurate and comprehensive data management, and cementing KPI trends via data visualization for the Global Strategic Sourcing and Procurement teams. This role will be responsible for mining, verifying, inputting, analyzing, and creating data visuals for large volumes of data, which will directly impact our team’s operational efficiency, cost savings opportunities, and Sourcing flexibility.
Responsibilities
Price Data Maintenance in SAP
Update Purchase Information Records (PIR) in SAP
Update SAP Contract pricing
Update the Source List SAP
Maintain accurate records and track progress via JIRA and SAP
Work with sensitive data and ensure data integrity
Collaborate with the team to improve the SAP data maintenance process
Purchase Price Variance (PPV) Reporting
Use data visuals to show impactful trends
Break down impact by Sourcing category
Use data to detect and drive PPV improvement actions
Maintain an action tracker and status, communicating across the Sourcing team
Work to drive PPV to $0, month over month
Data Visualization
Leverage PowerBI to bring existing data to life
Pull data from SAP and/or the data lake
Create data visuals for PPV, Price Health, and Spend Analysis sliced by Category, Category Manager, Global, Regional, and Plant
Essential Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proven experience in PowerBI
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Standard cost knowledge
Purchase price variance experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with SAP is a plus
Finance, Sourcing, or Pricing experience is a plus
Work Environment
Monday to Friday - 40 hours/week. Initially heavy onsite but will transition to Hybrid Flexibility with Monday and Friday remote, and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite. On occasion, some travel to Cranberry Township is required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
