Actalent Mechanical Engineer in Murrayville, Georgia

Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description

This mechanical engineer will be in charge of all new designs as well as updating existing designs. This role requires the engineer to be very hands-on throughout the whole design process. They will receive specifications from the sales team and design to customer needs, aid in the fabrication process, and also be involved in all quality control throughout the entire design and fabrication process. The engineer will also be responsible for organizing the current library.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Murrayville, Georgia.

Work Environment

This is a very small family-owned business. The office typically has 15 people, currently staffed with 11. They have a machine shop where part fabrication is done. The majority of the current business (about 60%) is based in the US, with the rest spread across Europe, Asia, and South America. The role includes organizing their library and designing rooms for customers, potentially involving electrical or pipe experience. The work schedule includes a one-hour lunch break. Flexibility with start times may be possible after a month or two.
