About The Role:

We are looking for a Group Home Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our group home for adolescents, while ensuring the safety of the residents in a professional manor. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Supervise assigned Youth Advocates.
  • Ensure program routines and activities are implemented consistently and as scheduled, in accordance with agency policies and procedures. 
  • Conduct staff training, orientation, and staff performance evaluations as needed or assigned. 
  • Meet  with Program Supervisor to discuss group home operations.
  • Oversee and delegate use of program funds to direct care staff, ensuring receipts are properly submitted.
  • Complete the Monthly Inspection Checklist 
  • Coordinate transportation in regards to Dorm residents' appointment schedules.

     

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of work experience with adolescents
  • or Associate's degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of work experience 
  • Must be at least 21 years of age per DHS regulations
  • Clearances are required for this position and will be paid for by the agency
  • Supervisory/team leading experience preferred.

     

Physical Requirements:

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner and maintain the standard of care that is appropriate for this position.  Must be able to physically respond to residents who are engaging in unsafe behavior. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
