FAMILIES UNITED NETWORK INC Direct Support Professional Team Lead, Residential Home in Muncy, Pennsylvania
Requirements:
- The Team Lead shall have one of the following:
- (1) A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 1 year work experience with children.
- (2) An associate's degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 3 years work experience with children.
- Supervisory/team leading experience preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age per DHS regulations
State Police, FBI, and Child Abuse Clearances are required for this position and will be paid for by the agency
Pay & Perks:
Pay Rate- $19.00
- $150 sign on bonus after first 30 days

Responsibilities:
Implement policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Supervise your assigned direct support professionals
- Ensure program routines and activities are implemented consistently and as scheduled, in accordance with agency policies and procedures
- Conduct staff training, orientation, and staff performance evaluations as needed or assigned. Specific pieces of training assigned will include Safe Crisis Management, Group Facilitation, on-the-job training, and the new hire development plan.
- Meet on a consistent basis with the Program Supervisor to discuss group home operations
- Oversee and delegate the use of program funds to direct support professionals, ensuring receipts are properly submitted
- Complete the monthly inspection checklist for the Ashler Dorm program
- Coordinate transportation in regards to dorm residents' appointment schedules
Complete other duties as assigned that are relative to the position

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety and maintain the standard of care appropriate for this position. Ability to physically respond to the residents who are engaging in unsafe behavior.
