Requirements:

• The Team Lead shall have one of the following:
  • (1) A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 1 year work experience with children.
  • (2) An associate's degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 3 years work experience with children.
• Supervisory/team leading experience preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age per DHS regulations

• State Police, FBI, and Child Abuse Clearances are required for this position and will be paid for by the agency

    Responsibilities:

   

• Implement policies and procedures

• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Supervise your assigned direct support professionals
• Ensure program routines and activities are implemented consistently and as scheduled, in accordance with agency policies and procedures
• Conduct staff training, orientation, and staff performance evaluations as needed or assigned. Specific pieces of training assigned will include Safe Crisis Management, Group Facilitation, on-the-job training, and the new hire development plan.
• Meet on a consistent basis with the Program Supervisor to discuss group home operations
• Oversee and delegate the use of program funds to direct support professionals, ensuring receipts are properly submitted
• Complete the monthly inspection checklist for the Ashler Dorm program
• Coordinate transportation in regards to dorm residents' appointment schedules

• Complete other duties as assigned that are relative to the position

Ability to physically respond to the residents who are engaging in unsafe behavior.
