DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage REPORTS TO: Assistant Food and Beverage Manager and/or Banquet Captain

SUMMARY Effectively assist with food and beverage service while maintaining the highest level of customer service to our guests in a professional manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ? Maintain a professional appearance. ? Obtain instructions from the Banquet Captain and execute these instructions. ? Complete side work and task lists as directed by the Banquet Captain or the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. ? Maintain a positive attitude and work together with staff in all departments. ? Effectively adjust when changes arise mid-event. ? Keep Food and Beverage areas clean and organized. ? Maintain a sense of urgency when on the floor during service, no standing or leaning. ? Responsible for rolling and polishing silverware, polishing glassware, setting buffets, beverage and snack breaks, formal table settings, serving plated meals, assisting with buffets, clearing tables, taking out trash, and minimal dish washing and mopping after events on a regular basis. ? Must be open to assisting other departments (Event Services, Kitchen and Facilities) when needed or required. This includes but is not limited to helping with food prep in the kitchen, assisting with dishes, the entire set up and tear down of event rooms, cleaning carpets, painting and deep cleaning and maintenance of various areas in and outside the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS ? Customer service skills are vital.. ? Need to be a good communicator and be able to follow instructions ? Need the ability to multi-task and do so in a timely manner. ? Must be a team player. ? Exceptional organizational skills and math skills are required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE ? High School Education.. ? ServeSafe Training Certification preferred but not required. ? Must have
