The Security Commercial Solution Area (CSA) Team positions the value of our best-in-class cloud security solutions & services to enable SMC (Small, Medium & Corporate) customers and public sector organizations to accelerate successful business outcomes of their digital transformation more securely.

The Global Sales Leader, Security Solution Area, SMC (Small, Medium & Corporate) leads a team of Time-Zone (TZ) Leads for SMC-Corporate and SMB (Small, Medium Business) to provide and sell the best-in-class Security Solutions to our SMC customers. The Global Sales Leader, Security Solution Area, SMC provides sales leadership and technical thought leadership to accelerate our customers’ digital transformation and is a sales coach and leader, is fluent in sales-leadership practice and contributes with vision and flawless execution of solution and technical sales across different customer scenarios developing and growing the Security business across the time-zone markets.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building an effective SMC Sales TZ team to drive the Corporate and SMB business.

  • Provides strategic direction on how to address the needs of customers in Corporate and * SMB.​​*

  • Leadership influence : Drive thought leadership with TZ SMC CVPs (Corporate Vice Presidents) and provide business guidance for the Solution Area.

  • Security Solution Area Performance Management : Assess regional performance, partner with worldwide (WW) Go-To-Market (GTM) lead to adjust programs and offers, partners with Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) GTM on defined corrections. 

  • Security Voice of the Customer : Gather insights through listening channels, Rhythm of Business (RoB).

  • Security Manager Coaching : Through established rhythm coach/advise on growth bets, understand sales blockers, and accelerate top deals, collaborating with key stakeholders.

  • Sales Team Enablement : packages repeatable sales motions relevant to security workloads, ensures teams have the right skills and learning path, capabilities and certifications​​.

  • Role Productivity : Activate and land impact within areas and territories.

  • Compete Strategy : Investigate competitive threats and develop regional strategies to unblock, input to WW GTM leader. 

  • Participate in WW Security Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) with SMC insight.

  • Ensure scaling through partners by driving opportunity sharing.

  • Drive excellence in execution on Account Based Marketing and High Marketing Engagement Index recommendations​

  • Partner with key stakeholders in Global Partner Solutions, GTM, SE&O and other organizations to drive successful business execution.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 9+ years technology-related sales or account management experience

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 8+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.

  • 4+ years people management experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years technical sales leadership experience in cloud services growth preferably Security, Productivity or Infrastructure.

  • 8+ years people management experience, including managing high performance sales and technical-specialist teams, coaching solution specialist and account development strategies, and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations.

  • Technical certifications in Security solutions.

Solution Area Specialists M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $155,000 - $243,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $198,800 - $267,000 per year.
