Microsoft Corporation Business Program Manager in Multiple Locations, United States

The Enablement & Operations (E&O) team’s purpose is to enable Microsoft Customer & Partner Solutions (MCAPS) to better serve every person and organization’s transformation and economic success. How? We design, build, and manage the levers that accelerate commercial growth—including compensation, business performance and insights, planning, skilling, and tooling and engineering. This role is part of the Sales Planning & Operations team within the E&O organization.

As a Business Program Manager, you will play a key role in a team committed to enhancing the capabilities of the entire Microsoft Customer & Partner Solutions (MCAPS) organization, fostering improved support for the transformation and economic success of every individual and organization.

Responsibilities

  • As a Business Program Manager, you will build, own and operate the Corp to Field Leadership Run of Business (RoB) strategy across commercial solution area, customer and partner segments, working with senior leadership teams across Microsoft – ensuring effective, efficient, and timely conversations that are well structured and impactful.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify the right topics and content areas, develop and source high quality data, and drive all logistical elements needed for execution.

  • Partner effectively with senior leaders across MCAPS to plan, execute and facilitate learning and adjustments to how we conduct business reviews globally.

  • Work closely with senior executives, demonstrating expertise and executive maturity to drive productive and effective conversations and decisions.

  • Summarize key issues and business insights, and support executive-level discussions around top field issues, feedback, and requests.

  • Ensure robust readiness and guidance across the Leadership Rhythms with our Core stakeholders and Field Sales Enablement and Operations communities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 8+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement Operations, Finance or related field AND 8+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years management (e.g., people, project, process, vendor, change) experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of demonstrated ability to lead programs or functions in business operations, marketing, services and/or sales.

  • Effective analytical and project management skills to deliver well orchestrated and coordinated connection meetings, while addressing the needs of competing priorities and deadline.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a global team, driving successful outcomes with virtual team.

  • Experience developing and managing high performance teams.

  • Education: Master’s Degree preferred.

Business Program Management M6- The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $124,800 - $266,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $159,000 - $292,200 per year.
