Description We are offering an opportunity for a Staff Accountant to work with us in Mt. Holly, New Jersey, United States. The role is in the industry of accounting and requires skills such as Account Reconciliation, Journal Entries, GAAP Accounting, and proficiency in Excel. This role is a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Managing and ensuring the accuracy of journal entries.

• Conducting account reconciliation, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data.

• Employing your skills in Excel for financial data analysis and reporting.

• Utilizing your knowledge of GAAP Accounting in maintaining and updating financial records.

• Resolving any discrepancies or irregularities identified in financial data or reports.

• Regularly reviewing and monitoring accounts to identify any irregularities.

• Providing support in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

• Assisting in the development of financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of the organization.

• Collaborating with the team to ensure all accounting activities are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Requirements • The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position as a Staff Accountant

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is mandatory

• Ability to create and manage Journal Entries is essential

• Must have a solid understanding and experience of GAAP Accounting

• Proficiency in Excel is required

• Must have demonstrated experience with Excel
