TWO OPPORTUNITIES FOR BILINGUAL (MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH) RECEPTIONISTS! IN-PERSON 5 DAYS/WEEK 10:00am to 6:30pm in our MOUNTAINSIDE or MIDDLESEX BOROUGH, NJ, locations.

About You:

You are a people-person who loves to make others feel welcome. You have a warm, sensitive, and friendly personality, and you are always willing to go the extra mile to help others. You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You are also passionate about mental health and helping others.

Summary: As our receptionist extraordinaire, you are r esponsible for excellent customer service as the first point of contact for our clients. You will ensure clients are greeted with a warm smile, registered, and ready to receive services, including the collection of payments.

  • Answer telephone calls promptly and route them to the appropriate area. Internal transfer calls should be made via warm transfers.

  • Check voicemail and return calls and/or route voicemails to the appropriate area.

  • Provide telephone support for our Access Center and creating electronic tickets for referrals.

  • Direct clients to sign in electronically via the Patient Portal.

  • Inform Clinicians/APNs of client arrivals and direct client to the appropriate waiting area.

  • Collect client payments (co-pays, deductible, private pay) and update the records.

  • Conduct monthly Insurance verifications.

  • Provide Human Resources' support by performing criminal background checks, professional license and employment verifications, and reference checks.

  • Provide administrative support to the Office Manager as requested.

    Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service or healthcare administrative role is preferred

  • SPANISH FLUENCY REQUIRED

  • Experience working with an electronic medical record is a plus

  • Proficient use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs a plus

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Working knowledge of basic computer functions i.e., typing, email, etc

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Someone who is compassionate and has a big heart for those in need
