Google Strategic Partner Development Principal Lead, Wallet Digital Identity in Mountain View, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 11 years of experience in business development, partnerships, and management consulting in the Consumer Electronics, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.

  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD.

  • Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships.

  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.

  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

The Strategic Partner Development Principal Lead for Google Wallet Digital Identity will lead our business development and go-to-market efforts for Google Wallet with key ecosystem partners in the Digital Identity enablement areas. You will be responsible for originating, implementing, and optimizing relationships with the ecosystem of partners.

This will be a fast-paced role that will require cross-functional and cross-product area collaboration. It will require flexibility to try solutions, adapt, and quickly course-correct, as needed.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $162,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Identify, create, lead, discuss, and implement effective business development agreements and growth strategies that help scale the Google Wallet product and ecosystem.

  • Understand and partner with government agencies and/or standards entities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and influence product and partnership strategy, execute partnership initiatives, develop partnership plans and priorities, influence analysis developing, and communicating recommendations.

  • Maintain consultative business relationships with external stakeholders and gain exposure to partners’ business initiatives to positively impact Google Wallet growth.

  • Develop and execute on go-to-market strategies for new products/features, sourcing and securing partners, discussing and executing business agreements, launching and managing partnerships, and continuing to grow the business.
