Job Summary

Oversee the implementation and management of event management software within the organization. The Event Specialist is responsible for coordinating and executing various events while also tracking and reporting on key metrics to ensure the success and effectiveness of each event. This role contributes to the department and organization by streamlining event planning processes, enhancing event experiences, and providing valuable insights to inform future event strategies and decisions.

MAJOR DUTIES/FUNCTIONS/TASKS:

Collaborate with Event Management Software Vendor:

Work closely with our Event Management Software vendor to implement and customize the software across all LinkedIn locations.

Ensure seamless integration of the software with existing systems and processes.

Provide training and support to users to ensure efficient utilization of the software.

Manage Event Management Software:

Maintain event management software systems to streamline event planning and execution processes.

Monitor and oversee the proper use of the event management software across all NAMER sites

Provide guidance and support to ensure that teams at each site are utilizing the software effectively and in accordance with established guidelines.

Conduct regular checks and audits to confirm that all sites are using the software appropriately for event planning, coordination, and reporting purposes.

Provide continuous training and support to users to ensure efficient utilization of the software.

Update users, and content within event management software systems.

Develop SOPs and train teammates on event management software systems.

Key point of contact for all trouble shooting and questions for the event management software systems.

Event Reporting and Metrics Tracking:

Generate regular reports on event attendance, feedback, expenses, and ROI.

Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of success.

Event Marketing Support

Posting events on SharePoint based calendars.

Posting & promoting events on Teams channels, and digital screens.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Demonstrated ability to make decisions and solve problems with minimal guidance, balancing the needs of the account and Compass Group for positive outcomes.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Excellent interpersonal, self-motivational, and negotiating skills.
