As an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, developing, and executing the HR work across the employee, Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) and manager life cycle for the Copilot and AI teams. This role requires creativity and adaptability to deliver high performance with an integrated approach across Microsoft HR.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute across various people solutions across the employee, DRI and manager life cycle, including but limited to:

  • Talent Movement: Design and run the squad talent movement approach, resulting in the squads being resourced with the necessary capabilities. Put in place the required constructs to enable the movement of resources.

  • Culture: Establish ways to embed self-organized squads whereby team charters, ways of working, feedback loops and recognition are empowered motions within the squad, under the guidance of DRIs and relevant leaders. Support the building of feedback culture within the teams so all team members are coached and supported to adopt the best of high-performance practices.

  • Development: Work with employees, DRIs and managers to develop an approach to feedback and development to support high performance and career development.

  • Onboarding: Create a high touch onboarding approach to accelerate employee's experiences and readiness to be successful at Microsoft.

  • Performance: Ensure that we have a process for ensuring that individual performance within a squad is captured and shared with their direct manager. Determine how to evaluate impact and individual performance within a squad that is fed into their manager for coaching and impact discussions and talent movement once the cycle is over.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 6+ years experience in experience in human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, performance management)

  • OR Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 4+ years experience in human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, training, performance management)

  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 8+ years experience in human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, performance management)

  • OR Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 6+ years experience in human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, training, performance management)

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Human Resources Professional Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM, CIPD).

  • 3+ years experience with partnering with wide network of clients and across human resources to deliver effective business solutions.

HR Business Partnership IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year.

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.

HR Business Partnership IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year.

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
