salary: $42 - $45 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll be doing:

This role provides administrative support to an executive, managing communications, calendar, confidential matters, special projects, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure the timely execution of tasks.

  • Manage the executive's calendar, communications, and confidential matters, serving as a gatekeeper and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Oversee and execute special projects, sensitive assignments, and event planning, including vendor management and scheduling.

  • Compile and summarize complex issues, prepare briefing materials, and ensure timely follow-up on initiatives and delegated tasks.

Here's what you'll have:

  • Bachelor's degree with five years of executive-level support experience, or Associate's degree with seven years of administrative experience, including at least three years supporting executives.

  • Proven ability to manage complex priorities, coordinate board/committee meetings, and ensure compliance with corporate or government standards.

  • Familiarity with the Brown Act and prior support for a public board preferred. Ability to complete legal and technology training related to the District and Hospital Boards within 60 days of hire.
