Job SummaryWe are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, motivated, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment.The Warranty Coordinator role is responsible for managing FORTNA's Warranties and Warranty processes in North America. The coordinator manages activities and communications that guarantee successful warranty cycle execution. The primary objective is to address issues, ensure the customer is fully satisfied with the outcome and manage warranty related costs. The role will also be responsible for coordinating other planned field service activities including sales support and quoting field service. In addition, this role will be required to support Emergency "on-call" Dispatch, following a rotating on-call schedule.The coordinator role is the main point of contact to the customer and to the related parties within FORTNA including any sub-contractors who could be assigned to carry out warranty activities. Customer-facing experience is critical to the success of this role.The coordinator role will be responsible for developing a schedule and managing all costs and expenditures that are related to each warranty activity. A critical function of this role will be to investigate and validate claims, working closely with the Parts Team, Product Managers, Manufacturing, Quality, Program Managers, and Customer Support Coordinators. The coordinator will also be responsible to determine if each individual claim warrants parts only or labor in addition.The coordinator role is responsible for the overall execution of the warranty claim. As such, the coordinator collaborates with pertinent managers to assign teams consisting of the following if labor is necessary:Product Subject Matter Expert(s) (SME)Quality RepresentativeEngineeringInstallation, Field Service Members, Technicians, or Sub-contractorsProgram Managers/Customer Support CoordinatorsManufacturing representative Parts representativeIn addition, this position includes monitoring the production schedule to guarantee a timely product delivery to the field to support the customer. The coordinator communicates results and financial status to Senior Management on a regular basis. The coordinator could be expected to travel to the customer sites and manufacturing facilities to inspect issues, evaluate progress, and to maintain effective communication with the field staff and customers directly. Some nights and weekends may be required that are "on-call" in nature to address warranty repairs and claims.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProject Management for FORTNA Warranty and LPS Services in North America.Work cross-functionally with engineers, project/program managers, manufacturing, quality, installation, and finance to coordinate field activities.Work from "on-call" schedule for Emergency Dispatch coverage.Investigating and validating claims.Tracking Warranty periods by system and asset in global ticketing system.Drive quality in manufacturing and installation.Effectively and urgently communicate with the customer.Schedule and maintain activities for warranty claims.Build and enforce cost saving measures.Partner with different groups within FORTNA to develop solutions.Analyze and report progress internally and externally in a timely manner.Ability to juggle multiple tasks and changing priorities.Regular review and update of the warranty process.Willingness to travel as required.Regular financial reporting on services.Some nights and weekends will be required as needed.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSProject Management Professional, PMP Certification.Experience with scheduling. Microsoft project experience a plus.Experience working with customers in planning and troubleshooting issues.Experience in coordinating activities with other departments.Associate's degree in business, Supply Chain, Project Management, or Technology field.3+ years in a similar or related field acceptable in exchange for educational requirements. Experience with specialized equipment and rentals.Experience with conveyor tools and equipment.Experience working with CMMS, CRMs, and ERPs. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position.
