Hitachi Energy Customer Service Associate - International Contract Management in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania

Reference #: R0067577 General Information: This person will provide a direct interface with both International customers and HITACHI locations worldwide. This person will assist Marketing and Field Sales in establishing a cost-competitive approach in negotiating foreign contracts. This person will also provide expertise in International Trade Terms, U.S. & foreign trade compliance, documentation requirements, financing, and INCO terms. This person will be expected to possess knowledge & understanding of HITACHI Group directives. This position requires high persuasion & negotiations skills, as well as a pleasant personality and ability to handle stress well. This role will require efficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Expertise in SAP would be a benefit, but is not a necessity.

Your Responsibilities: Manage contents of contracts for specific details to ensure compliance to corporate policies as well as national & foreign government regulations. Manage contracts from order-entry process until product is delivered to the customer and payment is received. Expedite all orders for necessary documentation, i.e. Import License, Export License, Letters of Credit, Inspection Authorization, etc. Prepare all necessary shipping documentation, i.e. Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, USMCA Certificate, all documentation required on a Letter of Credit, etc. Maintain vast relationships within HITACHI and among external parties (e.g. banks, steamship lines, freight forwarders, packers, customers, etc.) to provide our customer with the highest quality customer service. Utilize HITACHI's tools and processes, including product configuration tools, order entry & invoicing systems, etc. Responsible for order tracking and assurance of on-time customer delivery. Work with HITACHI Logistics on export arrangements. Invoice the customer for HITACHI factories in accordance with INCO Terms. Additional duties may be assigned, as needed. Your Background: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or relate fields. Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States. Recent experience working with international transportation operations, especially with Export Compliance. Knowledge of INCO terms. Previous experience with business-to-business (B2B) customer support; international client support experience is preferred. Knowledge and skill in utilization of computer databases applications, & systems - efficiency using MS-Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is necessary, and experience using SAP is highly preferred. Experience using Customer Relationship Management.
