1st shift Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm
Wage: $23.78 an hour exempt Annual Salary $49,462.40

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Dean of Students, this position is responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the academic and student information and the information system utilized to accomplish these tasks. The Registrar will meet academic and professional qualifications, demonstrate dedication to academic excellence and student-centered education, and will support the mission and vision of the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties of EMPOWER champion, or similar role with other systems (responsible for various updates and acts as a liaison between SCTC and ComSpec for various trainings and concerns.
  • Coordinate activities related to the establishment and maintenance of student records utilizing EMPOWER Student Information System; review records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to college
  • Oversees transfer credit evaluations with academic officials.
  • Ensure the conformity of record release procedures to registration policies and legal requirements governing the confidentiality of student
  • Ensure the integrity, maintenance, and security of all students' academic
  • Compile information for reports and surveys; prepare reports and surveys reflective of student enrollment and Registrar's Office activities for utilization by college administrators and outside
  • Produces academic transcripts and disseminates as appropriate.
  • Assist in the establishment and implementation of Registrar's Office policies; ensure compliance with established practices, and keep support staff informed of current changes and standards.
