Robert Half Sales Assistant in Mount Olive, New Jersey

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Sales Assistant in Mount Olive, New Jersey. This role is based in the e-commerce industry and will involve managing order entry, invoice processing, and data entry tasks. The Sales Assistant will also play a vital role in the marketing of products on social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure precise entry of Sale Orders into our systems, including Sage and SAP

• Submit invoices to the accounting department and assist in the cash receivable process

• Prepare invoice documents for accounting and streamline the cash receivable process

• Support with data entry and uploading information to e-commerce sites

• Create and maintain order management process documentation, and develop future processes and procedures to support changing business requirements

• Identify actions to improve returns rate and cancellations

• Fulfill orders through all e-commerce platforms, timely and accurately

• Ensure consistently high customer satisfaction on all e-commerce orders and services

• Promote and grow all targeted e-commerce platforms and businesses while maintaining a positive and professional image for the brand in the retail market

• Research and analyze pricing, sales, and product portfolio data to maximize market penetration

• Compose promotional content as needed, including blogs, social media, and others

• Assist with marketing of products on social media platforms as needed

• Write ads for marketing purposes. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Sales Assistant role or similar.

• Proficiency in using SAP and Sage Software.

• Experience in e-Commerce and Social Media Advertising.

• Skilled in Order Entry and Invoice Processing.

• Ability to Enter Invoices efficiently and accurately.

• Demonstrable experience in Data Entry.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Proven ability to meet sales targets and KPIs.

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Knowledge of sales principles and customer service practices.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
