Robert Half Inventory Clerk in Mount Olive, New Jersey

Description We are seeking an Inventory Clerk to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in Mount Olive, New Jersey. This role involves processing and maintaining customer credit applications and records, while also handling customer credit inquiries. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate actions to collect due payments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications efficiently

• Maintain precise records of customer credit

• Address customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Closely monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions to collect delinquent payments

• Completing manufacturing documents required for packaging and production activities by adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and CGMP standards

• Operation and adjustment of production equipment through automatic or manual controls based on product-specific parameters

• Preparation, printing and application of labels for vials, bottles, boxes in accordance with SOP

• Execution of a packaging process where caps and labels are manually applied to vials and boxes, then packaged for shipment

• Utilization of a semi-automated process to fill, cap 2.5L bottles, apply labels and then manually load boxes

• Completion of production checklists and in-process sampling as required

• Finalization of documents for line clearance and final product release, and completion of bill of material and yield reconciliation processes

• Receipt and staging of materials required for production and put away after production

• Cleaning and maintenance of production equipment

• Preparation of products for shipping to customers – including palletization of products and shipping documentation

• Receipt of incoming materials, supplies and equipment, reconciliation of received items to purchase orders for accuracy verification

• Data entry in ERP system

• Aiding in document review and revision process, suggesting and carrying out improvements to production and associated documents

• Ensuring work area is clean and organized

• Managing time to meet set productivity goals

• Assistance with inventory control and warehouse activities as needed. Requirements • Must have experience with packaging and labeling in a manufacturing environment.

• Familiarity with warehouse environment and duties is necessary.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Ability to maintain inventory records accurately and efficiently.

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy items.

• Strong attention to detail for inventory control and management.

• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and management.

• Problem-solving skills to resolve any issues related to inventory.

• Must adhere to safety procedures and regulations within the warehouse environment.

• Prior experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry would be an advantage.

• Basic math skills for counting and recording inventory.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Flexibility to work in shifts, during weekends, or overtime if necessary.
