Are you passionate about customer operations management and are process detail centric? PPG Aerospace is seeking a Chemical Management Services (CMS) Manager! As the CMS Manager, you will support and guide customer program launches, lead all aspects of implementation, and support the program over the life of the contract. You are the primary contact for customer inquiries at the beginning of a program related to the overall issues associated with the chemical management program. This position is located fully onsite in our Mount Laurel, NJ facility. You will report directly to the CMS Regional Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the chemical management program at the customer and execute all defined contract obligations over the life of program
• Partner with Global Chemical Management Services Platform and sales to identify, support, implement and manage CMS programs for the region
• Establish and meet inventory targets in line with ASC working capital goals
• Work with the customer contacts to perform onsite audits to develop Value Added Packaging (VAP) opportunities, cost savings projects, gain share projects, waste reduction projects, produce supporting documentation/forms as required, and give presentations to customers
• Assist in training of new chemical coordinators, offsite at customer locations
• Support PPG chemical management program when supplier issues/problems arise and implement resolutions
• Experience in the following areas is beneficial: business process analysis & improvement, lean & six sigma, quality assurance, strategic sourcing, team facilitation, materials management, QAD, enterprise resource planning (ex. SAP), and cost reduction
• Attend required bi-monthly meetings at local account and work with supervisor to prepare metrics presentation
• Attend quarterly meetings with customers and coordinate with on-site personnel slide preparation to present and talk through the presentation

Qualifications

• Four (4) years in a lead, supervisory or managerial role in the Supply Chain, Production Purchasing or related experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related discipline preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Must be a U.S. Citizen required
