Job Description

DUTIES: Coordinate scoping and technology architecture review activities for initiated programs; provide end to end technical project management to drive delivery of critical features; implement large scale IT, Telecommunication, and Network infrastructure projects leveraging SAFE (Scaled Agile Framework) and Agile development methodologies; provide project management for Quality engineering and IT test automation teams; manage projects and delivery of technology domain and systems of an Internet/Telecommunication infrastructure; and set up and manage projects to forecast growth by effectively coordinating with supply chain vendors and 3rd party OEM (original equipment manufacturers); coordinate, manage and drive test organization activities; facilitate bug triage, manage bug lists across vendors, track issue resolution with the lead engineer; coordinate change request generation and tracking; make project scheduling decisions in conjunction the lead engineer or facilitate conversations necessary for decision making; report on project’s progress as required by product engineering management; identify and manage critical path and risk areas and create risk response and mitigation plans; report weekly/as necessary on any risks/issues; escalate issues as required to unblock open issues; work with other project managers to track and manage inter-project dependencies; communicate updates on major milestones, escalations and status to lead engineer and lead project manager; work with lead engineer and management to set project specific budget; project spend rates based on the budgets; and manage within budgetary objectives set by manager, monitoring and controlling costs within functional areas. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience providing end to end technical project management; implementing IT and Telecom infrastructure projects leveraging SAFE (Scaled Agile Framework) and Agile development methodologies; providing project management for Quality engineering and IT test automation teams; managing projects and delivery in the software development or quality assurance domain, and in Internet/Telecommunications systems infrastructure; and setting up and managing projects to forecast growth by coordinating with supply chain vendors and 3rd party OEM (original equipment manufacturers).
