Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Job Description

Actalent is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Engineer to design, build, and maintain a repair area within a plant. The successful candidate will ensure the process operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a hands-on approach and experience in process/industrial engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Implement detailed plans and specifications for the repair area

  • Oversee the construction and installation of equipment and systems

  • Optimize workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime

  • Maintain accurate records of repair activities, equipment maintenance, and process improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering field

  • Ability to lead cross-fictional teams

  • Previous industrial engineering experience improving manual processes

  • Experienced in LEAN manufacturing (time studies, single piece flow, work instructions, 5S, FMEA, 8D, Visual Management)

  • Experience with design and layout implementation

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience

  • Ability to engage and maintain processes in a new plant

  • Continuous improvement

  • Electronics experience

  • Process Engineering

  • Ergonomic experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $105000.00
