Chewy is recruiting for an Associate Director, MRO & Capital Procurement!
What You'll Do:
Develop and implement annual strategic plans for the sub-category
Plan and complete sourcing strategies and leverage Chewy’s buying power across area of responsibility
Identify and realize cost savings and reduction opportunities
Meet regularly with internal collaborators to align procurement strategies and cost savings opportunities
Build relationships with internal business partners, vendors, and key suppliers
Lead end-to-end negotiations with suppliers, including contracting and contract management
Manage Tier 1 suppliers in collaboration with business partners
Keep abreast of industry market trends and standard processes
Drive continuous improvement opportunities
What You'll Need:
BA or BS required; MBA preferred. Procurement certifications are a plus (e.g., CSPM, APP, ISM, IPMM or MCIPS)
8+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing and developing category strategies
Expertise in managing Corporate Services categories along with experience negotiating technology contracts within the categories as applicable
Ability to work with cross-functional business partners
Outstanding organizational and project management skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external customers
Intermediate to Advanced level Microsoft Office proficiency, excellent excel skills
Strong Analytical skills and detail orientation
Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable and improved results against the organization's key performance indicators
Elevated level of customer focus and an ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment
Up to 15% travel may be required
