This is a full-time position requires in office attendance in Mt. Clemens, MI. Position Overview: Full time position, hourly, non exempt. Responsible for front desk management and answering and routing phone call. Responsible for coordinating Accounts Payable and residential monthly billings with outside accounting firm, maintaining manual checks, billing records and filing of invoices. Qualifications: * Minimum education level of high school diploma * 2 years of experience basic accounting functions * Knowledge of MSWORD, ACCESS, QUICKBOOKS, and EXCEL and basic computer operation * Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner * Ability to handle multiple phone lines * Ability to interact with clients, their representatives or others in a positive and supportive manner Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for accounts payable filing and upkeep of files * Organize and forward monthly billing logs to the accounting firm * Record receipts and benefit letters for food stamps, Home Help payments * Answer and route all administrative phone calls * Upkeep annual group home inventory lists * Maintain postage meter * Maintain the ACCESS database of agency clients * Maintain Vehicle List * Log all cash receipts, bank deposits * Upkeep records of company credit cards and other vendor accounts * Assist with correspondence, letters and other business communications when requested * Responsible for daily mail * Other additional and specific duties may be assigned by the Executive Director
