A Manufacturing Engineer is needed for a world leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives in the Mossville, IL area. This position will provide manufacturing solutions to the assembly and disassembly of engines and develop and implement assembly processes in line with company standard processes.

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

• Provide manufacturing solutions to the assembly and disassembly of engines.

• Develop and implement assembly processes in line with company standard processes.

• Provide analysis to drive to root cause and/or determine improvements, and lead projects to develop and implement solutions.

• Troubleshoot day-to-day issues, develops solutions, and monitors improvements.

• Procure material related to manufacturing improvements through external suppliers.

• Respond to customer issues and lead process improvements.

• Improve Value Stream metrics by defining and implementing process improvement activities.

Skills:

• Design experience (Creo preferred).

• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

Desired Skills: Engine or testing experience.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology.

• Any amount of experience will be considered with a Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study.

• H.S. Diploma and GED candidates will be considered.

• Must have engine experience with 5+ years related experience.
