Job Title: Fuel System Development Engineer

Job Description

As a Fuel System Development Engineer, your primary role will be to research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical devices. You will analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine the feasibility of project timelines and costs. Additionally, you will investigate equipment failures to diagnose issues and recommend solutions to the maintenance team. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to oversee the project from inception to completion, ensuring a seamless integration of new components into the fuel system. This is a critical role in spearheading a multi-year project focusing on Common Rail fuel system component development for a new product introduction.

Hard Skills

  • Creativity

  • Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and computations

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and reports

  • Experience with CAD software, Creo preferred

  • Knowledge in Fuel System Development/Design

  • Experience in product lifecycle/development

Work Environment

Office Environment primarily - may support lab tests as well
