Description and Requirements

Lenovo's Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) Quality & Security team is hiring a Technical Product Manager. This person will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, supportability and reliability of Lenovo's data center products through technical assessments and evaluations working together with across functional teams.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate and lead technical assessment activities through working with various development areas P4

  • Prioritize and guide virtual assessment team to evaluate customer requirements and provide recommendations to meet customer technical requirements

  • Analyze and interpret technical experts feedback including test data to determine if a CORE request is OK to move on or not

  • Follow up or risk assess a CORE request to meet urgent customer/marketing requirements

  • Collaborate with development, engineering, services and production team to ensure quality, buildability, and serviceability under a CORE request

  • Identify technical issues, then provide/follow up alternative path to succeed customer requirements as possible

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of CORE/FastPath processes and recommend for improvement

  • Lead and mentor a virtual team of technical assessors to improve assessment outcomes' accuracy and efficiency

  • Provide technical guidance and support to virtual team members across functional teams

  • Maintain accurate records, assessment feedback and testing results

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Engineering or related field

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Intel x86 or AMD server architecture and product development.

  • Experience in the development and execution of design processes.

  • Experience in Project management and reporting tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for a variety of tasks, including engineering task management, partner engagements and executive updates.

  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively in both a team environment and self-directed; passionate about learning new technologies and skills.

  • Experience with GPU, Servers, CPU or Memory development
