Seeking an Automotive Design Engineer to join our Team. A Successful Candidate will have experience in Machine design utilizing Cad Software on manufacturing projects.

Description

• Design of production machines- creation of assembly drawings, fabricated parts drawings, and specification of purchased components.

• Developing cost estimation and quotation documents for assigned projects

• Work with electrical engineer to develop controls concept for the machine

• Lead design reviews on assigned machines with customers and division management

• Develop countermeasures to mechanical problems that occur during machine construction

• Update final drawing package and create operation manual for the completed machine

• On-site machine modification investigation support

• 3D Machine design experience is a must

• They use Inventor, but Solidworks is fine—if you talk to candidates ask what design software they use

• Production experience helps

• Vision systems or gauging

• Robot design is a plus

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
