Atlantic Health System/Goryeb Children’s Hospital is Seeking a Program Director for our Pediatric Residency Training Program located in Morristown, New Jersey
The Pediatric Residency Program at Goryeb Children’s Hospital, Atlantic Health System, combines the best features of a university program with a community-based children’s hospital setting. We receive more than 3,000 admissions and over 95,000 outpatient visits per year, perform cutting-edge research, and employ more than 100 general pediatric and subspecialty faculty members, many of whom are dedicated clinician-educators.
Goryeb Children’s Hospital is located in the beautiful and diverse community of historic Morristown, NJ, and is a state-of-the-art children’s hospital known for its patient- and family-centered approach. Our yearly class size of 12 residents allows us to create individual learning programs for each resident with a degree of mentorship that is unparalleled among regional programs of similar size. In addition, our parent company, Atlantic Health System, is a branch campus of Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University.
The role of Program Director involves a commitment of 60% administrative responsibilities and 40% clinical duties. Administrative responsibilities include, but are not limited to, serving as a role model for patient-centric professional care activities and overseeing the Chief Resident(s). The Program Director will oversee the development, implementation, review, and assessment of all aspects of the pediatric medicine training curriculum. They will ensure resident competence in all domains while providing regular and effective feedback to all residents. Additionally, the Program Director will align the program's strategy with both departmental and institutional Graduate Medical Education (GME) strategies. They will also make meaningful contributions to the General Medical Education Committee (GMEC) and act as a liaison between the GMEC and residency program faculty members.

Qualifications
BC by the American Board of Pediatrics
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Associate Program Director or Director
Demonstrated success working individually and as part of a team
