It is likely that a tenure-track search will be launched for 2025-2026. Job duties: The teaching load is 24 credits of instruction or the equivalent. Currently planned courses are one section of Mgmt 3101: Financial Management (4cr); one section of Econ 3151: Econometrics (4cr); one section of Mgmt 4102-03: Investments and Portfolio Analysis (2cr each); and 3 more courses in economics or business and management, to be arranged in consultation with the person hired. This position must demonstrate sensitivity, knowledge and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, gender, cultural and ethnic backgrounds All instructors are expected to strive for excellence in teaching and to participate in the assessment of student learning at the program and campus level The employer reserves the right to modify, change or add to the duties of this position, consistent with the classification description, at any time. Salary range: $70,000 - $75,000 plus benefits Qualifications Essential knowledge, skills and abilities: Education: ABD in Economics, Business Management, or a related field with successful teaching experience and preparedness to teach the courses listed above. Preferred qualification: Ph.D. in Economics, Business Management, or related field completed by August 12, 2024. Teaching: Required i): successful undergraduate teaching experience; ii) ability and willingness to teach the courses listed above.
