Job Summary: The Press Brake Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets and plates into precise shapes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of metalworking processes, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup and Operation: Set up and adjust press brake machines, including selecting and installing appropriate dies and tooling. Operate the press brake to perform bending, forming, and punching operations.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine machine settings and adjustments.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and specification requirements. Use measuring tools and gauges to verify dimensions.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. Report any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, including any adjustments made and issues encountered.
• Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience operating press brake machines and familiarity with bending and forming processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
