Job Title: Janitorial Worker

Job Description

University is looking for custodians to clean and maintain the interior and exterior of assigned buildings or areas. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping all surfaces. - Stripping and waxing floors. - Disinfecting restrooms, showers, locker rooms, and kitchens, including all fixtures. - Emptying trash containers and bins. - Relocating offices, classrooms, student dorm rooms, and event setups.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 520 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Work Environment

First Shift: 6:00AM - 2:00PM (Monday - Friday) - Every other weekend is required and contractor will receive a day off during the week on those weeks. Second Shift: 2:00PM - 10:00PM (Monday - Friday) - Every other weekend is required and contractor will receive a day off during the week on those weeks. This is a large university campus in Morgantown, WV. Candidates should be open to moving areas throughout the campus as needed. Candidates are given a badge to punch in and out and to access all campus buildings. The pass also provides free access to all public transportation. Parking on campus is not free; candidates can purchase a parking pass for $25 per month. Uniform: All candidates receive a WVU shirt and should wear tennis shoes (no crocs or open-toed shoes). Jeans or pants free from debris and holes are required for colder months, and shorts of appropriate length are acceptable in the summer.
