Job Summary
Responsible for supervision of production staff located within the O&M Distribution Center; responsible for directing and coordinating production activities at a fast-paced and high-volume Medical Supplier.
This position is responsible for oversight of all activities to assemble a surgical bundle/kit for O&M distribution accounts.
Core Responsibilities
Responsible for supervising Leads, production workers, and warehouse workers (where applicable) to ensure all production functions are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists teammates in solving work problems.
Establishes work areas and rotations to optimize the workflow of the CARE Room.
Hires new production teammates; ensures teammates receive the appropriate training for their job function
Enforces company policies and safety regulations.
Enforce quality regulations and processes.
Initiates and implements plan to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
Recommends measures to improve quality and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.
Lead daily Tiered Accountability team to Identify problems and develop solutions to continually improve operational safety, quality, delivery and cost measurements.
Coaching employees through performance management to help achieve daily/weekly goals.
Must possess the general ability to use Windows-based programs and the routine ability to retrieve, update and utilize available reports related to essential job activities.
Supports the continuous improvement and lean manufacturing concepts within the production team, to reduce operating costs and improve safety and quality.
Possesses a working knowledge of all production positions within the facility.
Conducts Payroll Approval Process
Verification of and adherence to accomplishing daily/weekly production goals with the Team.
Assists in preparing operational schedules and coordinating manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
Confers with leads to coordinate activities in Receiving, Picking, Replenishment, Assembly and Shipping.
Oversee daily floor operations to ensure compliance with standards.
Orders and tracks shortages for production.
Perform additional duties as directed.
Maintain an inventory accuracy for customer's shipments and Indirect materials in house.
Qualifying Expereience
High School Diploma or equivalent, Four-year college degree preferred.
At least three years of Supervisory Experience in Manufacturing/Assembly Operations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
