Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Responsible for maintaining the operation of industrial equipment throughout the Distribution Center. The role involves servicing high-speed unit sorters (Cross Belt, Tilt Tray, Sliding Shoe) and case sorters (Narrow Belt, Pop Up, Sliding Shoe, Swivel wheel). Additional responsibilities include working with PLC controllers, conveyor controls such as Pyramid, Print & Apply systems, and troubleshooting photo eyes, encoders, scanners, and dimensioners. The Maintenance Technician must have knowledge of VFD controls, ASRS systems, MDR conveyors, powered curve conveyors, and electrical systems ranging from 600v to 12v, including transformers and motor control panels. The ability to replace and wire a 3-phase 480v motor with a brake, replace gear box speed reducers, and re-lace or replace conveyor belts is essential. The candidate must also have experience with air control systems, hydraulics, trash compactors, and corrugated balers. The role includes performing maintenance service and repairs in plumbing, carpentry, and painting, and requires the ability to read schematics and blueprints.

Distribution Center over 3 million sq feet. Shifts/Schedule: Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs, 6am-2:30pm, 2:00pm - 10:30pm, 10:00pm - 6:30am
