Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee tactical and strategic activities, maintain accurate timekeeping records, schedule vacations, and ensure team support of company policies and procedures for the shipping and receiving teams.

• Ensure on-time delivery of daily requirements while achieving the best possible Perfect Order Rate (POR) results.

• Establish and maintain tactical and strategic activities required to meet and improve departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Conduct regular audits to verify process sustainability and identify improvement opportunities.

• Ensure compliance for all shipping and receiving documentation as it relates to both domestic and export orders, in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.

• Communicate and escalate as necessary to get adequate support to achieve the highest results.

• Assist in the coordination with order administration and logistics to schedule all modes of transportation required to meet daily demand.

• Support inventory accuracy; investigate and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure inventory control.

• Lead the training and cross-training of all department team members, including coaching and development of all personnel within shipping and receiving.

• Teach, coach, and mentor process owners and leaders on how to sustain results.

• Establish and maintain shipping and receiving team schedules to ensure proper manpower coverage to meet daily demand and cost goals.

• Participate directly and indirectly in kaizen events.

• Travel is limited but may include domestic and international trips as required.

• Other duties as assigned.
