Our client is a leading metal finishing company specializing in high-quality services for the aerospace and defense industries. As a rapidly growing organization, they are seeking a skilled Process Technician, Metal Finishing to join their dynamic team in Moorpark, CA.

Pay Rate: $30-$40 per hour

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Interpret and adhere to industry and customer specifications accurately.

• Read and understand blueprints to guide metal finishing processes.

• Prepare part surfaces effectively through masking, blasting, cleaning, and plating.

• Apply basic electrical knowledge, including circuitry, rectifiers, and anode/cathode placement.

• Assist the laboratory in managing chemical additions to plating baths to ensure correct balances.

• Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements for handling hazardous chemicals in plating processes.

• Report equipment malfunctions to management and perform minor or temporary repairs as needed.

• Coordinate and troubleshoot issues related to processes and equipment operations.

• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by strictly adhering to safety policies and procedures.

• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and foster strong relationships with team members and customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field required.

• 2-5 years of production experience, preferably in metal finishing or a related field.

• Experience with hazardous chemical materials.

• Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
