Roush Yates Engines Social Media and Content Creator in Mooresville, North Carolina
The Social Media and Content Creator will create and execute the social media strategies for Roush Yates Engines and Roush Yates Manufacturing Solutions to ensure each online presence is engaging, cohesive, and aligned with their brand goals. In this fast-paced sports and manufacturing environment, the Social Media and Content Creator will manage strategy development, campaign management, content creation, and execution of content, while continuously optimizing for better performance. This position will also create and execute social media content to support Roush Yates Engines' technical race partners.

Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
- Work closely with our team to understand business objectives, target audiences, and brand voice.
- Develop and execute custom internal social media strategies, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.
Content Creation and Curation:
- Creation of engaging content (shooting and editing), videos, photography, including graphics, and blog posts, which resonates with the audience.
- Curate relevant third-party content to engage followers and foster community.
Social Media Campaign Management:
- Plan, create, and launch social media campaigns across a variety of platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, etc.).
- Collaborate with other departments and/or partners to ensure campaign assets are delivered on time and to spec.
- Manage paid social campaigns, including ad creation, targeting, and performance tracking.
Community Management:
- Monitor and engage with the social media community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
- Manage and grow social communities through active engagement and conversation.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track key performance metrics (KPIs) for social media channels, including engagement rates, reach, impressions, and conversions.
- Provide detailed monthly reports to highlight performance, insights, and next steps for optimization. Use data to optimize campaigns.
Collaboration and Cross-functional Work:
- Collaborate with other race teams and technical race partners to ensure seamless integration of social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns.
Stay Updated on Trends and Best Practices:
- Stay on top of social media trends, platform updates, and industry's best practices to keep strategies fresh and effective.
- Experiment with new tools, features, and platforms (e.g., new Instagram features, TikTok trends) to continually evolve social media presence.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a Social Media and Content Creator, preferably in a sports environment or working with multiple accounts.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Experienced in Graphic Design, Illustration, Video, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and analytics (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, etc.).
- Experience in creating and managing paid social campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple partners and deadlines simultaneously.
- Tools and Software:
- Social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other reporting platforms.
- Graphic design and video editing software (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.)
